Deep Fakes — Preventing Deception and Knowing the Source
Deep fakes are AI-generated media that copy real people without permission. At Explicity, we do not allow the misuse of AI to impersonate individuals or spread false information.
Preventing Misuse
We build our AI systems to prevent the creation of misleading or deceptive content, especially content that impersonates public figures or private individuals without permission.
Verifying Authenticity
We work with industry organizations like the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) to help people understand where images come from.
We add metadata and detection systems to AI-generated images so they can be easily identified as synthetic content, ensuring transparency across the web.
Preset Voices
Explicity is designed to use only preset system voices. We do not allow the cloning of real human voices to prevent audio deep fakes and identity-based fraud.
Creative Controls
Our image generation systems are hard-coded to refuse requests for real public figures in misleading or harmful ways. This prevents identity misuse at the source of generation.
Our Goal
Our goal is to prevent deception, protect identity, and make sure AI-generated content is used responsibly and transparently.
